Located northeast of Vancouver, the Thompson Okanagan region is easily accessible by car:
- From Vancouver - via Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) and the Coquihalla (Hwy 5)
- From the United States - via Highway 97
- From Northern BC - via Highway 5
- From Alberta - via Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1).
The region offers commercial bus access, while national airlines provide daily flights into airports in Penticton, Kelowna, and Kamloops. International flights also arrive into Kelowna.
